900 MHz and 2.4 GHz RF Lightning Arrestor

This device provides surge protection for the antenna port of all the Afar Wireless Ethernet Bridges, both 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz models.  It is equipped with N-type connectors to be installed right at the antenna port of the radio.

We recommend using RF Lightning Arrestors in outdoor installations where the coaxial cable between the radio and antenna is longer than 10 ft (3 meters) and where there is the possibility of lightning nearby.  Our application note on lightning protection explains these recommendations in detail.
